BE ON TIME
“Your incompetence will cause every chain
of events
that I had scheduled for the day to be
delayed.”
-The Movie Cone Heads
I had a real deep quotation for this subject but
the above one is the better for it.
The time that they set. For example: If they say
3 O'clock then you say how about 3:15. Always change the time to an off
time so that they realize how important your time is. They will respect
you for it. Don’t be a looser. Be on time! Many top salespeople keep a
schedule and show up on time. This is simple philosophy and stuff you should
have learned at home but is stunning me how many people are late for appointments.
All this stems far deeper than youn can imagine so just do it and watch
the positive results. No excuses! Just do it!
I had a manager that used to show up for appointments
20 minutes early just so he could learn the neighborhood and prepare. Then
he would knock on the door 5 minutes early and tell the client the he is
sorry that he is 5 minutes early. He would do this to show the client how
competent he was and just in case the client had their clocks set wrong
he would set it in their minds that he made a conscience effort to respect
your time. He is rich now!
Also, demand that your clients be on time. A sure
way to do this is always change
