BRAGGING
“It ain't bragging if you’ve
done it.”
-Dizzy Dean
I never understood the term 10-Million-Dollar Producer. What does
this really tell the customer and fellow associates? It tells them
you are arrogant and pompous and self-centered. A better term is
Award Winning Realtor or 98% Customer Satisfaction Award Winner.
I realize that you (if good) you can turn anything around, but a confident
winner pays attention to the present and the future, not the past.
Tell the customer what you can offer them now and in the future and live
it. After you earn the right, then you can confidently brag about who you
are and your accomplishments, but not before.
What you have accomplished is your resume and can reflect your future
efforts, but I have witnessed many potentially good salespeople lose deals
and lose the respect of their fellow employees by gloating about themselves.
No one likes a showboat. Your actions speak louder than words!
