Introduction
"Action
is the goddess of good luck”
One day it dawned on me that I had been in sales for over 10 years and
I had finally gotten to the point that I had figured it out. It's
less complicated than I had thought. At 36, I realized that my success
was based more on my good attitude than on any other factor.
My knowledge is a result of many trainers before me and many personal
mistakes, some costly, but as I reflect, mostly funny.
I started my sales career in Real Estate, then a short stint with cars,
and then I went into Manufactured Housing (trailers), where I really learned
how to sell. I was very successful in Real Estate and the car business,
but as I reflect, I would have been a giant if I knew what I know now.
This book is designed to give you a “ let's get to the point” approach
to what it takes to be successful in sales. As you know, many sales
books are wordy and full of useless information. This book is exactly the
opposite. In fact, it may seem vague at times, but that is the point.
Keep it simple. Shut-up and keep smiling, and it will all come
together.
Good luck and I know you will find this book fascinating.
