TECHNOLOGY

You need to keep pace in this area or you will get swallowed up like a fly eaten by a frog.  If and when you can afford it, get the best but don’t be stupid.  Don’t get what you don’t need and know what your competition has.  A few phone calls can usually achieve this.

It can be frustrating when you work for a company that does not have up to date equipment, but do not quit over it.  Some companies simply can’t afford it, but others are just cheap.  If the reason is the latter, then it is time to find another job, but if it’s the former then maybe your company is in a growth cycle and you may reap the benefits, or maybe not.  Be careful!
