WORK SMARTER, NOT LONGER

I often tell managers that slave their staff:  “Why do you think they have twelve guys on a basketball team.”  Do what you can in a day and get the rest you need to get your game back tomorrow.  I have no problem letting my clients know that I do not work on certain days and I have a personal life.  As long as you tell your clients, they will respect you for it.  Never mind that, more is better, overwork mentality.  It’s old news!  If you have that too much business then it is time for an assistant but don’t kill yourself.  Work wisely, thinking along the way.

I have seen many great salespeople get burnt out because the companies they worked for did not emphasize time off.  It is absurd when a company hires a salesperson to sell and then fires them because they wont work 7 days a week and or they cant meet deadlines with their paper work.
If you work for this type of company, find another one!
